While you’re be-bopping around town this week, turn up our specially curated "Tailgating Playlist," for the perfect tunes to make your weekend complete!
John's Bar has been a Canton staple since 1945 and is famous for its burgers and beer. Kennedy’s BBQ is known for its mouth-watering pulled pork sandwiches and ham bean soup. Both these restaurants are local favorites that you don’t want to miss out on.
Nothing goes better with football than an ice-cold beer. Canton boasts many taphouses that serve their own brew. Stop by Muskellunge, Royal Docks, or Canton Brewing Company. Canton Brewing Company also has a speakeasy for some underground fun!
Bender's Tavern and Gervasi Vineyard are premier restaurants that will not disappoint even the most discerning palette. Bender’s Tavern has been in downtown Canton for more than 119 years, while Gervasi Vineyard is set on a gorgeous winery with a view you won’t want to miss.
Whether you want to enjoy a scoop, a banana split, a shake, or a chocolate candy treat, Taggart's, Milk & Honey, or Heggy's all serve up homemade treats in retro shops that will have you waxing nostalgic for the ‘50s.
Score some chocolate at Waggoner's or take the Chocolate Factory Tour at Fannie May. Either way, you’re in for a mouth-watering treat!
Enjoy homemade root beer at Woody's. There aren’t very many old-fashioned drive-in restaurants, or root beer stands left. We promise this is one stop you don’t want to miss!
A bit of a history buff? Make time to stop by the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum and the McKinley Monument.
The McKinley Monument is the final resting place for the 25th President of the United States, William McKinley. Residents of Canton pass by the Monument and its 108 steps every day.
The McKinley Presidential Library and Museum is the place to learn all about the history of Stark County. It also houses Discover World, an interactive science center that is fun for ALL ages!
We are huge fans of pickleball here at the Hut! This fun, face-paced sport combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong and is enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. Our favorite courts are found at Stadium Park.
Disc golf is extremely fun, addictive, and one of the fastest-growing sports globally. This sport doesn’t require a lot of equipment to get started, making it very family-friendly. Visit Arboretum Park to find our favorite disc golf courses.
